PRAYER ASSEMBLY - will meet on Sunday Mornings at 9:15-9:25 for prayer

 

SUNDAY SCHOOL  - We have a place for all ages. Every Sunday morning at 9:30 am.

 

DISCIPLESHIP TRAINING: Discipleship Training meets Sunday nights at 4:00 pm.  During Discipleship Training we have speakers who teach a variety of subjects and topics.  Some of the subjects/topics covered are Money,  spiritual gifts, evangelism and more.  This is a great learning time for adults.  If you would like more information on Discipleship Training, please contact pocahontasbc@bellsouth.net

 

 

 

THE MIGHTY CHORUS - is the adult choir that sings every Sunday morning in the worship service. They practice each Wednesday night at 7:15 pm. For more info please contact pbc@pocahontasbaptistchurch.org

 

Children's Choir: is a children’s choir age K 4 – 6th grade. They meet Wednesday Evenings at 6 pm. During the Months of  Sept, Oct, Nov, Mar, Apr, and May. If you would like more information on our Children's Choir, please contact  pocahontasbc@bellsouth.net

 

LIVE ALONE MINISTRY- Is a ministry that calls daily to check on members of our church who live alone.

 

 UPLIFT-  Is a visitation ministry. We meet the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 10:00 am and then we visit our shut in's and visit the nursery homes. For more info please pocahontasbc@bellsouth.net

 

BROTHERHOOD BREAKFAST: Every two months (on the odd months) the men of PBC meet at 7:00am  on Sunday morning for breakfast.  There are guest speakers who speak during the breakfast.  All men are welcome to attend.  If you would like more information on the Brotherhood Breakfast, please contactpocahontasbc@bellsouth.net

 

WOMEN IN ACTION: Women in Action is a meeting for women to pray for missionaries.  They meet the first Monday of every month at 6:00 pm.   Women in Action will NOT meet during the summer, they will resume meetings in September.  If you would like more information on Women in Action, please contact pocahontasbc@bellsouth.net

 

MILITARY MINISTRY – to send cookies, cards, and emails to men and women in the military to show encouragement and love as they are on active duty. For more info please contact pocahontasbc@bellsouth.net

 

 

 

FAMILY NIGHT: Family Night at PBC is a time where the church family meets once a month for food and fellowship. This Sunday night ministry is a highlight of our church.  If you would like more information on family night please contact  pocahontasbc@bellsouth.net

 

  

 SPECIAL MINISTRIES

 

 

BLAST: Pocahontas Baptist Church BLAST is a children's ministry for children  K4-6th grade.  They meet  Wednesday night at 6:00 pm during the months of Dec, Jan, Feb, June, July and  Apr. They enjoy bible study, activities and games.  BLAST is a growing ministry at PBC and we welcome you to come join us.  If you would like more information on BLAST for your children or someone you know, please contact pocahontasbc@bellsouth.net

 

CONNECTED: CONNECTED is a ministry for our youth grades 7-12.  CONNECTED is a laid back atmosphere where teenagers can learn about Christ and make life long friends.  CONNECTED meets every Wednesday night at 6:15 pm and would love to have anyone in grades 7-12 join them.  If you would like more information on CONNECTED, please contactpocahontasbc@bellsouth.net

 

YOUNG ADULTS -  They meet every Sunday morning at 9:30 am. Led by Ryan Culpepper who are here to encourage and love the college students while they are away from home., and young adults. For more info please contactpocahontasbc@bellsouth.net

 

PATHFINDERS: Pathfinders are senior adults who meet monthly, third Tuesday of the month for fellowship and  ministry.  If you are a senior adult and would like to be involved with Pathfinders, we do not meet during the summer, please contact Pocahontas Baptist Church at pocahontasbc@bellsouth.net
